The location in the peaceful and quiet town of Beer was perfect for exploring and enjoying the lovely scenery. Located in a beautiful area, this hostel proved to be a great spot for a family Christmas trip. the self-catering kitchen was quite handy, allowing us to prepare delicious meals, and the spotless shared washing facilities never made us wait for long.
Staying with kids can be challenging, especially when your room is very noisy due to other families. I was disappointed to find out that the food wasn't as good as I expected, but it was still overpriced.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hostel in a fantastic area. Yha Beer was a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful arts and crafts house and a friendly and helpful staff. the self-catering kitchen, although small, was really handy for making packed lunches or cooking meals for yourself. the shared washing facilities were spotless, and even though the hostel was fully booked, I never had to wait for a shower or toilet. the building had a lot of character, with beautiful wooden doors and shaped door arches. I also enjoyed being able to order a drink from the bar. The location was perfect for walking to the seafront, pubs, and tea rooms. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 👍.
